In 1981, Jerry Mitchell and his family relocated from Sunnyvale to Rocklin, a then suburban city of less than 8,000 residents. A dedicated public servant, Mitchell has over 40 years of experience in public service. Starting with a recognition of the area’s need for park expansion, Mitchell served as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner, then as a City Councilmember, Mayor, and various other prominent roles in service to the citizens of Rocklin. Mitchell has served as an SPMUD Director for over 24 years, with tenures as both Vice President and President of the Board.
